Most of you are familiar with the "undo" button on our computers... consider this an "undo" of the Underwriting Update we sent last month on this subject.

After further consideration, American Modern will no longer be requiring photos as previously outlined for Manufactured Homes.

Just to give you some background, the original reasons for the change were concerns around older Mobile Homes and also concerns about Mobile Homes with possible prior unrepaired damage. American Modern was trying to take measures to ensure their Mobile Home product remained healthy.

As quoted by American Modern's President, Manny Rios, "We have sought to balance our shared need for profitable risk selection and exposure management with your need for viable processes that won't burden your agency."
