The passing of our founder, Jack E. Brown
We are saddened to announce the passing of J.E. Brown founder, Jack E. Brown. Jack passed away peacefully on December 1st surrounded by his loving family. Everyone who crossed paths with Jack knew him for his fun-loving and positive attitude, as well as, his generosity and genuine care for others. For those wishing to celebrate and remember Jack, we would ask that you honor his memory with a donation to the American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
Jack Brown established J.E. Brown & Associates in 1990. Prior to starting J.E. Brown, Jack was a partner with T.V. Humphreys General Agency where he ran the Northern California operations for 10 years. During his insurance career, Jack worked for a number of insurance companies including; Allstate, Market Facilities, and Foremost. Exposure to Foremost’s General Agent distribution channel attracted him to the wholesale marketplace and the eventual founding of J.E. Brown & Associates.
