Headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, KW Specialty Insurance Company (KW Specialty) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kramer-Wilson Company, Inc. (KWC) with an A.M. Best A- (Excellent) VIII rating. KWC is a private, closely-held corporation owned by founder Weldon Wilson and his family members. KWC has over 40 years of experience owning and operating Century-National Insurance Company, a California domiciled property and casualty company which was sold to National General on June 1, 2016. All business is written on KW Specialty Insurance Company paper on non-admitted basis only. KW Specialty utilizes technology that is cloud based, digital, highly flexible and configurable so that workflows are efficient and seamless for our agency partners. KW Specialty provides creative solutions for writing tough to place dwellings of many different occupancies and structure types.

In addition to traditional manufactured/mobile homes, we can consider a wide variety of structure types (non-admitted), including: Yurts, Shipping Container Homes, Tiny Homes, Pole Barn Conversion, and more! For homes in brush areas, we also offer a DIC option.

We can consider almost any occupancy and structure type with an “À la carte” approach. With this E&S market we take a “find a way to write it” approach.
